April’s As the Season Turns

And a favour to ask…what are your favourite bits?

As the Seasons Turn is my podcast with FFern, a half hour exploration of all that the month has in store in stars, the garden, folklore and song. Apologies that I didn’t put up April’s edition at the beginning of the month, but here it is, link at the bottom of this post. Find me talking about the degrees of sunrise, sowing hardy annuals and making nests for bees, Zoe exploring the folklore of Lady’s Mantle, Alice recording the sea at Dover, and Gwilym singing ‘Blodau’r flwyddyn’, an example of ‘old verses’, thousands of verses that can be fitted together in different combinations.

If you are a regular listener to the podcast we are after some feedback: we want examples of any bits that you have particularly loved. We are planning to put it forward for the British Podcast Awards! So would be very keen to hear of any sections that really appealed to you. Please do leave any suggestions in the comments below.
