Week 30
Nothing to declare
Hello!
As I mentioned last week I am away this week so I have nothing to declare, but I am popping this up as we do love to keep track of all of the weeks.
This is our community post in which we all leave comments about what we have seen/done/eaten/noticed this week that felt particular to this week of the year, a little seasonal snapshot if you will. At the end of the month I gather them all up and we make a kind of patchwork quilt of the month. It’s gorgeous.
So please help me out in my absence: what has felt particularly seasonal in your week?
Made the mistake of growing catnip in my garden this year - I intended to dry it and have it for my cats this winter. The neighborhood cats have discovered it. Yesterday two of them were rolling around in my yard and another actually broke into the fenced garden and found the motherlode. A neighbor called me and said, "There's a cat in your garden and he doesn't want to leave."
The hares are more used to my presence and my Sessile oak tree has produced some beautiful fresh red and green leaves💚♥️🌳
