I’m so looking forward to the 2025 almanac. My husband has noticed I reach for my almanac not just at the beginning of each month but in between when I need a bit of comfort! It’s a hug in a book. X

I've bought your beautiful Almanac from the first edition, and it's a tradition that I give one to my friend every Christmas. Each one is exquisite and we both look forward so much to starting again in January, and sharing comments on the months contents. It's a beautiful way to stay connected throughout the year, both with nature and each other xx

I love the almanac and all its stories. On the first day of the month I read that month's chapter, then I go learn the folk song at the piano.

Ah i love to hear this! The folk song is one of the more niche bits and I slightly wonder sometimes if I should keep it but hearing things like this makes me determined to x

Oh please keep it in, I love it. And it's always something I almost certainly wouldn't have come across myself

Oh, this sounds like a really interesting almanac. I always love them because of your gentle introduction to nature, the turning of the year and noticing nature's happenings. But this will introduce me to a part of the world and our way of connecting with it that I haven't done much of.

I glance (don’t want to spoil the anticipation of delving) through the book when it is gifted for Christmas (always on my wish list!) and keep the copy on my bedside table - the covers are always so beautiful to display! And then at the beginning of each month,I open it and read the appropriate section, anticipating the first day of each month. It truly is a gift that keeps on giving. Thank you for your writing!

Ooh this sounds an absolutely brilliant one! Can’t wait! I am especially excited about the ancient astronomy aspect and the stones. Have been fascinated by stone circles etc ever since watching The Children of The Stones tv series in the ‘70’s ( showing my age) . There is currently a fantastic updated version of it on R4 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/p08sy3qx?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile

This is the most anticipated almanac because for me it comes at a very special year-the year I turn 40-but when I heard the theme was ancient astronomy I was even more excited! I look forward to:

-reading the ancient astronomy articles and constellation stories from across the world that are lesser known and lesser told than the Greek ones, thank you for bringing them to a wider audience because star lore is a bit of a niche interest of mine. I am so curious as to how ancient astronomy still influences us too. It ties up with a passion project of mine I am hoping to bring out in the next year or so

-learning about megalithic architecture and hopefully using those as travel inspiration especially as a way of getting to travel the UK better and as an exploration of deep history and maybe deep ancestry

-baking cakes of the month! I love cake!

-really getting into each month and moon cycle deeply with the monthly meditations

-seeing how everything connects! That bit intrigues me most, especially the idea of cakes being connected…

Sorry I waffled, but I am more excited about 2025 now!

Apologies for the late reply to this and I’m not sure if you’ll see it, but I have just launched the passion project that I referred to above 😁

Living in the Southern hemisphere, I have to be creative with an almanac based on a Northern hemisphere calendar, but that is part of the fun! Thankyou for your inspiring work.

Congratulations on publication day! I've loved reading your previous almanacs and this one sounds amazing, especially the facts around stone circles, the extra glowy moon and the Cailleach. Can't wait to see it.

My tradition is always to open it up on the first of the month, ideally sitting on the step in my back garden and getting some fresh air while paging through. The new year’s almanac sounds lovely!
