A group of long tailed tits in the garden, along with a very noisy robin, plus a rogue wagtail bobbing up and down on the garden wall. Drizzly rain, but they don’t mind.
I seem to have a bumper crop of quince this year. With it being a hot dry summer it flourished in the warmth of the sunniest spot by our garage. And the magic of seeing and hearing a red kite flying and swooping over head.
our apple trees have been covered in fruit this year, my sisters pear tree has been weighed down with pears and (i know not really a fruit) the oak tree at the top of the garden has dropped acorns all over the lawn which have filled 6 trugs so far despite it not producing any acorns for years
Heavy rain causing the river, at the bottom of the garden, to burst it's banks and fill the flood plain. Grateful to be dry inside doing some DIY. Wondering how all the wildlife is coping with the heavy rain?!
Venturing out for a walk in wellies and waterproofs.
Breakfast watching the sky turn from black to inky blue and then lighter. Candles by dinnertime.
Discovering an apple fallen from the tree in my local park, despite its small size, it's sweeter and more delicious than anything in the supermarket...

Brought the last sweet peas into the house and their scent lingers.

Watching a blackbird eating berries in the hawthorn tree in our garden.
The trees, heavy with fruits, are discarding them quickly now. Sweet Chestnut, beech nuts and acorns litter the woodland floor.
