Thank you Lia, I've been waiting for this video all week! I only discovered your videos halfway through the year and I love them, they are a lovely companion for the wheel of the year. Thank you so much! I also have your almanac for next year, it's beautiful ❤️ I'm the introvert who loves the autumn energy so you made me smile today 🍂🍁 xx

Lovely! I'm trying to set up a little autumn equinox altar on our dining room table, ready for tomorrow morning, Sept 23rd, as suggested by you, Lia! Thank you & Happy Autumn Equinox (from someone who dreads the lessening of the light & so is trying to mark it more, to better accommodate it!)

I love these gentle video's so much. I need to remember to come back to them as I've only seen the last 2. They are so calming and encourage a moment of reflection at these key times in the year. Thank you.

Lovely as always Lia thank you. I have thoroughly enjoyed these from the start & vividly remember being in a cosy seaside Airbnb with the rain lashing and watching your Samhain one.

I have all the essentials from your kit ready to go, I just need to actually start my cross stitch ( bought it months ago )

Time to ‘sink in’ as you say & embrace the season x

Hi Lia, I just loved this. What a balm for my rainy afternoon here in Virginia. I was the one who mentioned the sigh of my inner introvert - how lovely that it also resonated with you. The concept of a kit is so soothing - I am going to take that to heart. Maybe I will get past the first couple of rows I attempted in my knitting project last year. :) Lovely, as always. xx

So lovely to watch this as a way of resting after some quite vigorous pruning (to make space for more Food Forest plants in tiny garden). Your crochet reminded me it’s time to get out a lap loom and prepare for cosy evening weaving some beautiful plant dyed wool from my favourite dyed Leya at Rowan Lane Fibres.

Thank you for this video. And Oh! The brilliance of burning a candle in the morning in the dark times too! What a great idea!

Your tomato planetary explanation really helps 😅 I obviously wasn’t listening in ‘science’ all those years ago.

And I love the autumn 🍂 with all its rich colours, a time to snuggle down.

Hi Lia and Mabon blessings to all.

I have been autumn prepping all week...

Fur throws are adorning the sofas, piles of logs are chopped and stacked. Fireplace adorned with candles, foliage and a furry mouse on a pumpkin purchased from The Range.

I am thinking of seeking help / support and medication for what appears to be an addiction to pumpkin cushions. I have bought 8 this week...so far. I have also sterilised several jars to house a giant marrow which has sat in my kitchen for the last week.

I don even know if Marrow Chutney is desirable as a Yule / Christmas gift but hey...my friends are going to be receiving some whether they like it or not.

Also, Toffee Apple Crumble is my Pud of The Week. I cannot eat an actual Toffee Apple without getting sticky goo everywhere and so this is my sweet fix.

Garden looking soggy - Dahlias are drooping and the bird food is going mouldy so a bit of garden TLC required this weekend.

Enjoy the start of Cosy Season, thanks for your lovely video message. So soothing as always.

Catherine Xx

These videos are a lovely accompaniment to your wonderful (and always much anticipated) podcast. I picked up your Almanac while in London last week and am eagerly looking forward to reading that as well. Even though I live most of the year in far-off New Orleans where the seasons don't quite behave as neatly as yours do--and often misbehave quite violently--I appreciate enormously the narrative arc you put on the natural year. You've succeeded in making something small, beautiful and happily ongoing, and I'm following it from afar with great joy.
