We are coming up to Lammas and Lughnasa, on the 1st August, the first harvest festival of the year. This is the latest in my filmed series of chats about these special moments in the year - the traditional celebrations that fall on the solstices, equinoxes and on the cross-quarter festivals that fall between them.
So far I have covered Samhain, Midwinter, Imbolc, May Day/Beltane and Midsummer, and they are all available for you to pop back and look at them if you missed them at the time.
Much of the info in these talks has been gleaned over my years of writing The Almanac, and the 2024 edition is out at the end of the month.
